MIDI assigment with Rejoice and a Logitech/PS2 like Gamepad

Post by derders » Sat Feb 10, 2007 8:31 am

Hello,

I have a question, I have installed Rejoice and want to use my gamepad to control my midi instruments with it.

I want to control the x/y-element box ... you know what I mean :-) The little blackbox of each instrument..

when I klick the midi-assignment where I can define the gamepad button I can´t choose this box...

Is it not possible ?

would be great to control instruments with the x/y and r/z axis analog sticks

thank so much for help

So easy, yet very powerful solution to control Live.
In Rejoice you have to assign a button AND the x/y stick... Too bad theres no documentation from rejoice but its all in the thread mentioned above.
When im lazy i do all my Liveacts only with the gamecontroller, launch scenes, using filters/fx with the x/y stick, control Beatrepeat or dBlue Glitch.

Cool stuff, people go like 8O

?? no, you can assign x and y each separately.

@derders: use the *native interface* for the params you want and assign the sliders that way.

Sure you can,
but for each x OR y Axis you have to choose a button that "switches" the Axis on or off...
First i thought: whadda Krap, then i thought: very handy! parameters don`t change when i let the button go.
Good for "switching on" Buttons are the L/R buttons.

cheers,
