hi,

u need to send a c-1 (or c-2) at a velocity of 127 on the channel 1, this for arming the first channel. Send the 7 following notes for the others...

For switching between faders banks and arm channels 9-15, send notes b2 and a#2 to going back.

here's the complete list :

maybe u have to transpose -12 or +12 depend on the keyboard manufacturer, i think for korg it's c-2 in place of c-1...

kind regards,

Thanks, i will try that out. :)

Is there a way of just assigning one button to arming a selected track? Or do i have to assign one button for each track?

I just gave it a try and it's still not arming? I'm editing the padKontrol with the pk editor, setting first pad to C-1 or C-2, 127 velocity and on channel 1. Once transmitted, I tried opening live and arming still doesn't work?

What I have done with my PadKontrol...Loaded the "Preloaded" Ableton Live scene. #18 (pg 15 of PK manual)I then saved this scene as Scene 1. So every time I start up the PK this scene comes up. (all pads lit)This scene sends CC's from each pad and not Note #"s . I switch to the midi assign in Ableton and set the pads to what I want.I am gonna put up a thread to ask if I need to assign a pad to every track I want to arm AND a pad to EVERY clip slot I want to activate to record into. This would kind of suck. since I only have 16 pads to work with. As of now my Scene 1 of the PK , All pads midi ch 1, the knobs 1 and 2 control Master volume and tempo. I use the 16 pads as follows. Pad 5 arms track 1. Pad 1 activates the first clip slot to begin/end recording. Pad 6 arms Trk 2 and Pad 2 activates the top clip slot of that track. at this rate I can only arm and activates 8 tracks. I think I will have to copy this pk scene to Scene #2 of the PK then, set all pads to transmit on midi ch 2. then use the same set up of pads to arm the same tracks and activate the SECOND row of clip slots.
hope this helps. If you know of another way let me know.
