midi thru : cc64 filtered ?

Post by Az » Thu May 31, 2007 9:24 pm

Hi,
I use Live for midi routing in a project.
The setup is simple: midi controler -->Live-->hardware multiFX
CC and Program changes are sent correctly exept the CC64 which
seems to be filtered (the midi out led is not active with cc64).

Is someone encountering the same issue ?
Is it a bug ?
Can someone test to output thru a cc64 to confirm (or no)t what I describe ?

Thx

Not too surprised at problems with 64 (hold pedal)

My wish for the hold pedal is that there could be some way to send an off message to it when the transport is stopped??? I am always having to hit the sustain pedal to clear it because Live gets stuck with the pedal on if it is interrupted in the middle of a clip envelope or something where the pedal was active.

I can understand the behavior to a point, but at the same time when the transport is stopped, and nothing's playing, and I've not got my foot on the pedal, I don't want to hear sustained notes!!

No problems, the thread in itself is an hijack because
it was a stupid control surface programation error with a bcr2k button:
on value :127 , off value:nothing/off
it wasn't detected as a valid CC by live or something like that.
