fucking hate it
you know a shit.
first, my girl asked me to rent me the money. and as one said, the most expensive thing is to get external material into the digital box. like a voice. its not my fault if you don´t recognize the differences between a quality setup and the silly playthings you defend. so it all fuckin depends on your approach and your aim. you you wanna do your stupid plastic toys "music" then all that crappy free vst and cheap samling shit will work very well, but if you´re a listener to first extendand know all the possibilities and great works done in the history of music you somehow feel love and respect for that, and you don´t want to flood the market with the crap that most of you just do.
and: i got more ideas a second than you in your entire boring lifetimes suckers (and thats no trolling pose, thats simply a fact).

who says that?mosca wrote: if you're responsible for the music in the myspace link in your sig then you're not getting any very good ideas are you?
besides, its minimalistic and instant stuff, not worked out. all that you see in these tracks came just that every second and was recorded live. and its the first things i had ever done, just starting from total scratch not 2 years ago. before i didn´t know what a sequencer is, and that there are things like interfaces. so focus there yet is not in being creative in composition, more on protocolling moments and moods, while figuring out the possibilities and limitations of sound with the technical setup i own.

If you own Live 6, there are no limitations to the possibilities of sound. It will, however, take much more than 2 years to learn the craft of composition. Formal study is readily available and probably more cost effective than buying some fancy equipment.

Hey, sometimes you have to vent
we're all on borrowed time here - I don't think it's fair to cal thsi guy names for admitting where he borrows his money from...it's not like we're all rich
and that's his point (kind of)
however, you really should focus positive energy into doing something good with what you have
hey, I'm jobless, don't have a virus TI and would love to have a couple pioneer CD-J 1000's
but I don't and that's alright - life's still good and I find myself rocking out almost every day with my laptop, ableton and Torq
be grateful for what you have and you'd be surprised at what life gives you back - just try it
peace

Dude, I like nice things too but that dosen't mean I'm going to hit up loved ones for the money to buy them. You have champagne taste on a McDonalds budget.
You should wake up every day and thank the gods that produce freeware and count your blessings...
I'm having a laugh trying my best to belive you are not a troll.
So "champagne wishes and caviar dreams" to you.
Re: fucking hate it

i think taste is partly something you have to work for. i am a music maniac since my very youngest days, though there was nobody around that was really intersted in it all a similar way. so i feel much respect for many great artists of nearly every possible genre. again, get this as the main reason for my anger, that i don´t want to be part of that "yeah i produce so i´m cool" gang. to me art is much about conflicts, agony and passion and all that stuff. its a certain ethical and somehow philosophical level, like you wanna have a the perfect present for your kids (cause i wanna make music for next generations, not for recent popularity or money) but just just can´t afford it. and that thing wth my girlfriend, you talk shit when you gave money more weight in a relationship than love itself. she really wants to support me, cause we love each other not just since yesterday but a few years. so: go fuck your mommys.thelike5 wrote: Dude, I like nice things too but that dosen't mean I'm going to hit up loved ones for the money to buy them. i really like, but to be honest most of freeware is total crap. a few exceptions, and yeah, here i´m thankfull as hell.thelike5 wrote: You should wake up every day and thank the gods that produce freeware and count your blessings...
