trigger finger + live 6.0.1 = repeated dropped MIDI input ?

anyone have this experience ?
my trigger finger works great with live 5, but with 6, my MIDI input from the TF into live (usb) works for a few mins then just drops. i dont even get any MIDI intput seen via MIDI monitor, or anything.

then once i restart live, it works, for another few mins. then drops all MIDI from the trigger finger again.

upgrading to 6.0.7, just to see if that helps.
this is super strange.

if i never open live, MIDI input remian constant, as seen via MIDI monitor. so it's definitely something about Live 6, not the TF or computer OS, etc etc.

figured it out.. bad USB cable ! ugh. 1st time for that..
