Switching through multiple instruments in a rack...

I am trying to figure out how to map a setting to switch instruments within a rack. The Dennis Desantis live pack has a drum set rack with a switch kit function mapped to a macro knob, but I don't understand what it's controlling to be able to mimic the control setting. Anyone know how to do this?

that is what the chain selector is for. You can map a controller to the chain selector, and then set the ranges on the chain for which the different instruments are active...

Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't realize you could automate the parameter selection of the device chain zones. That creates an even more streamlined approach to the way I make music. Thanks again.
