Sound Jamming

Well i've just got Live for my Mac OSX and its jamming stuttering after only a few sound samples, and midi, buffer top right straight up to past 100% ...turned the buffer up to full still not good at all.
Any help??

-Is your Mac an Intel Mac?
-Is your version of Live pre-5.2 ?

Yes sorry didn't give you enough info really.

Heres the lot

Its 5.0.1 Live version.
My MacBook is 1.6 Intel Processor only 512RAM ,
it worked fine with less juice on my PC

Someone told me about partitioning... but this seams ridiculous considering the fact that it should work.? I don't want to make massive projects on it but even samples 2 or 3 samples and it is jamming the sound.?

try 5.2

Yep, use 5.2 your version of Live is not suitable for Macs with Intel CPUs....
