Berhinger BCF MC-C emualation mode for live: an overlayer

Post by felikz » Mon Jun 04, 2007 1:18 pm

Hi folks,

to engage full pleasure along with your BCF and Ableton Live i spend some hours for you to find out, how to use the Berhinger BCF in "Mackie Control Mode for Cubase" in Live. I start the BCF in MC C emulation mode like it's described at the Behringer Website, start the BCFView (verry cool)and run Live. In the preferences of live i choose Mackie Controll as HardwareController. And this is how you use it:

Image

Note: All * descripe the meaning of an active led. for example *rec means, that the track is armed when the LED on the bcf is on.
Other Example: with Shift 2(View),you can see if Live is in Session View (*sess = LED is active) or Arrangment (arr=(without *)LED is off)

Compendre ?
Cheers!

Nice one.

Were you aware that this had already been done, and with a printable cut-out overlay?

Have to find the thread...

note: I think he manually programmed some stuff which is labeled on the black shift layer. those buttons actually just send midi notes which you can map to things of your choosing
