a quick question

i have sequenced my track and i want to add some beat repeat and ping pong effects for a build up into a drop.i was just wondering how i would record this into the bit i need it to be in my track. i think its something to do with drawing envelopes in but not sure.any thoughts would be grateful. oh , im using live 5 too.

Start recording on the session view and when you want your build to start turn on the effects and tweak away. Later on you can edit those envelopes in the arrange view.

In the manual, this is called "automation".... or perhaps more specifically, "plugin automation"
