Anyone else seen this...?

What a load of shite. A lot of people have said it looks like Lisa Simpson giving head, or something from Saved By The Bell.

HA HA HA HA HA!!!

I couldn't belive that it actually would ;look like "Lisa Simpson giving head" but it does!!

They have to get rid of that logo. It's horrible...

Torino really nailed it for the Winter Olympics, as did Germany for the World Cup. This just sucks...

The London 2012 logo, featured on the above link, blows (no pun intended) away what was actually choosen.

I work in marketing/design. This is a poor logo and one not only England should fight to get rid of, but the whole world.

Looks like the Olympics spends their money as ridiculously as our Governments...

At that logos price, I can only imagine...

Tooth brushes will be $10,000 a piece for the Athletes. White towels 8,000 pounds a piece. Extra shoelaces on hand will be $3,000 a pair. etc

marketing speak marvelous.
"This is the vision at the very heart of our brand," said London 2012 organising committee chairman Seb Coe.

Interactive Olympics editor Claire Stocks:
"It will define the venues we build and the Games we hold and act as a reminder of our promise to use the Olympic spirit to inspire everyone and reach out to young people around the world.

"It is an invitation to take part and be involved. "

that logo will act as a reminder of a promise?
it's an invitation?

excellent stuff.

Take heart, London. There has to be a world's worst in EVERYTHING. Even logos.

Wow that is pretty horrid.

The Chicago logo, on the other hand, is pretty cool and apt (the flame is the shape of the Sears Tower - the most recognizable landmark in Chitown):

What we have here, is a perfect example of the 'Emperors Clothes' syndrome. Someone comes up with a ridiclous design (charging $700,000)and all the sycophants say it's a very clever and wonderful design. The rest of us are clearly ignorant because we can't see the implicit symbolism and message.

Stop the world, I wanna get off !
