Sound Channels? Sound dissapares plz help

Hi

When i have recorded 6 or seven tracks.. the sound dissapares.. and if i mute 2 or more tracks.. the sound comes back.. iv frozen and flatten the tracks that uses vst´s and the cpu load are at 13%..

iv got an old soundblaster live card.. (it works fine in other DAW apps like cubase.. in more then 7 tracks..)

iv installed the KX prodject asio drivers.. and then i tested asio 4 all v2 but i still got the same problem..

im recording in 48khz when i change it to 44khz.. the sound comes back for a while.. then it goes away again..

anyone know what´s wrong?

Hi,

The description of your problem makes me think it could be a disk streaming issue, though it should not happen with only 7 tracks. What plugin(s) are you using? Do they use samples, and are the presets having lots of samples?

Also, what are your computer specification?
