Trim Midiclips

I have a Problem when working with midi.

When i start recording, i sometimes have to wait a bar or two, until i got the rhythm...

so, even when i set start and end point, there is a long start and end that makes navigating more difficult

so i would like to trim and crop the midifile in the clipview, that the real start of my recorded clip beginns at 1 and not at say 3:2

is there anotherway except for moving the notes?

is it me or live?

Sure,

You may have to drag the clip to the Arrange view, but then you'd select the time frame you want to keep and then 'consolidate'
