After uninstalling using the uninstaller
do a search for ableton named folder, search for hidden files too.
Ableton store the settings in a pref file that have to be erased to get a clean reinstall. Don't remeber where exactly and I have no access to an ableton station for now.
Dunno what you are trying to do but just trashing that pref file will reinit your settings afaik.

You'll need black candles, and a star encircled pentagon drawn on the floor with cocaine ...

where would one obtain this uninstaller? my folders only have the program files (live.app, and docs folder).

Yup. This works. You have to use the real thing though, not crank or crack.

I've never touched the thing ... but it's iconography it's a little bit amusing to me (disregarding all the evil/pathetic stuff)

If you're on a Mac you don't need an uninstaller... There's be a folder in your homefolder/library/application support, and a prefs file (com.ableton.live something or other) in home/library/preferences.
Besides your Live.app and your library (which you should know where is!), that's all Live installs..
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.
