resetting warp markers question

Post by olo23 » Sun Jun 10, 2007 2:26 am

I am wondering how to reset a clips warp markers, i.e. keep it "warped" but only have the first warp marker at the start of the file with the startpoint at it?

Reason being is that when I bring in full tracks sometimes live autowarps it totally wrong, or puts an insane amount of warp markers into the track (like 200), and I just want to reset it so i can warp it manually. If I trash the .asd file and then reload the clip, then hit "warp" as the app is analyzing the waveform, that sometimes works. other times when i try that i get a bug where live puts crazy amounts of warp markers all over the place that don't match up with anything.

A simple "reset warp markers" function must be in there somewhere, anyone know the trick to making it happen?

There's a couple of ways. I do the following:

1. Click the last warp marker.
2. Hold down the delete key until the markers are removed.

Better:

Click on last marker -- hold SHIFT -- click on marker '2' at the beginning

DEL
