.wav audio files not syncing properly in Live 6.0.7 OSX

Post by Pete Lacis » Mon Jun 11, 2007 11:43 pm

I'm running a MacBook Pro 17" with 3GB RAM and a 1TB LaCie Big Disk Extreme firewire drive and MOTU 896 with LIVE 6.0.7 and OSX 10.4.9

If I create a new live set and import .wav files from another multi-track DAW session, the playback of the files is mis-alligned. If I run my old Win XP Nuendo 2 system and import the .wav files, they play perfectly. I've tried this with a variety of other .wav files form a variety of sources and the same problem persists. Also, the playback sounds "wobbly" and almost as if its underwater. The sample rate for everything is 44. 1 and that is what I have Live set to as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated here. Thakns!

Hi,

Double click on the clips, and click the 'Warp' button, to turn Warp OFF. And then read about warping in the manual!

I actually disabled warp in the preferences and then things were ok. I bought the upgrade to Live 6 and never had a hard copy manual. Guess I'll have to check out the .pdf

Thanks!
