How create "effector" in ableton similar DJM-600?
Hi,
is possible set the effects in ableton so that would be possible one effect
assign to various channel(I don't know, but for example: routing or return track or some special vst plugin)? I would like to create "effector" similar djm-600.
This mean:
Have knob to select effects
Have knob to select channel
Have knob to change parametr time
Have knob to change parametr lenght/depth
Thanks for help

If I understand your question, all of these things are possible in a Rack (on a Send channel) except:
selecting the channel
You'd have to select each channel seperately.... 16 channels = 16 Send knobs.
Otherwise, you can have 1 knob select between 16 different effects, 1 knob can control a paramter on all 16 effects, one knob could control the depth of all 16 effects....
On the plus side, you can send every channel you got to the same effect if you want (follow beats me's Send advice)... i suspect the djm-600 limits you to processing just one channel at a time?

Yes. Just do itPatch wrote:This is a great idea - but the DJM600 effects also has a button to turn the deffects on/off. Is there a way to map a SINGLE button (midi or keyboard) in Live to switch off/on the selected effect?
Though i suggest making a Dry/wet control for it. There's a howto in the tips section of the covert operators site.
I have uc-33e and I have knobs set subsequently (look to image uc-33e description)

Now, on each channel I have only five effects and this effects are only pressets,
where I change only how much will be loud (dry/wet).
I want to have a possibility change their parametrs(time - 1/1,1/4,1/8,1/16 etc. ),
but I don't have enough knobs on the uc-33e and so I got idea, if it's possible do it for example as at effector djm-600.
But I don't know exactly how do it and I would like to have some "manual" from us(ableton's people
).
Thanks
