"Foccussrite Saffire quistion on sample rate"

Is it me or is there no 256 bit rate on this audio interface!

Had some problems with my motu so going back to the saffire but have been wondering if anyone else has come across this same issue.

I use xp plenty of gig, etc.

you mean a buffer size of 256?
