I have a Rode Podcaster USB microphone, the M-Audio NRV10 firewire interface,Live 6.0.5 and a Mac G5.
I want compensate for the latency I get when recording with the Rode. Alot of what I record is beat oriented vocals.I need to record to a metronome/click accurately without the worry of hearing delay. Yes, the Rode USB mic. is plugged directly into the computer. What do I do?
a possibly redundant question regarding latency
Re: a possibly redundant question regarding latency
check the drivers for the usb microphone...I'm willing to bet that usb microphone doesn't have the best latency...is it ASIO? How does it show up in Live?leokuma wrote:I have a Rode Podcaster USB microphone, the M-Audio NRV10 firewire interface,Live 6.0.5 and a Mac G5.
