Axiom 25 Not Recognized

Mac newbie question:

When I plug my M-Audio Axiom 25 into my iMac (OS X 10.4.9) the driver automatically appears in Audio MIDI Setup (so I guess it must be part of CoreMIDI) and GarageBand automatically recognizes it. However, Live doesn't. It is not in the list of available MIDI ports. What do I need to do to get Live to recognize the Axiom?

I mean, AXIOM as a control surface live pack from abletons site...
