Ambient idea

Post by downfader » Fri Jun 15, 2007 7:41 pm

...not your traditional ambient.. I cant explain what I mean, you'll have to listen to find out (not a good incentive I know  )

What do you guys and gals think? :? Live still feels alien to me.

Cheers Spiral! I've been really unsure about that one as I've had some less than positive responses.

Yes, some great chill here downfader! Get a bit of a BOC vibe off parts.

I could definitely see it getting a bit more trippy and maybe with some minimal electronic perc.

Thanks for listening..

I have a load (some 2 or so Gb) of drum samples I made a few years back that I really could do with finding and importing. Some of them were completely made from scratch by drawing the sound in Logic and then exporting and tweaking in my Emu e5000, going through my sherman or guitar pedals, etc. One of the knarliest kicks I ever made was hand drawn and then put through a Dod Milkbox pedal.

I have one BoC album and have always loved their lofi sounds. LOL I think they have a great knack of naming their tracks, which I do not.
