iFCB + MOTU Ultralite

Post by fatrabbit » Sun Jun 10, 2007 8:36 pm

Hey,

Does anyone use the software iFCB (Mac OS editor for the Behringer FCB 1010 MIDI foot pedal) with a MOTU Ultralite soundcard? Can't get it to recognise the foot pedal - I have the FCB going into the MIDI In port of the soundcard.

Tried emaiing the maker (twice - once several months ago and again a couple weeks ago), but no reply.

You have to make sure everything is seen and mapped right unter the midi setup utility in the Utilities folder.

I'm pretty sure that's OK - got Behringer connected to right ports of MOTU in the Audio/MIDI setup.

i noticed with me that if both midi cables are not plugged in (IN and OUT)
ifcb wouldn't be recognized
maybe that could help

my problem by the way is that ifcb is reacting very slow ,i get the spining wheel quiet often
any solutions ?

two MIDI cables are required - one for OUT-IN and second for IN-OUT, I was having the same problem, and a second cable fixed it right up.
