live erases plugin automation

the way i typicall work is that i have one project for mixing and one for mastering. i am mastering dialogue right now and noticed, after exporting from the 'mix' file, all of the plugin (mostly eq on + off) automation was missing. when i went back into the 'mix' file, all of the plugin automation was gone. the envelope points were there, but that's it. i clicked the plugin dropdown menu for automation and every parameter was called something like 'plugin enumerator' this seems like a pretty huge problem, is anyone else noticing this? the plugin set i'm using are all from the uad-1 card
