My Ableton tracks and songs

I produced the vast majority of these using Ableton live.

UK songwriter/yechnically-lacking producer looking for artist/publisher/producer interest.

If I can use this software, anyone can!

Nice - but confusing range of genres, listened to I feel OK (actually liked it quite a bit, nice anguish), That Funny Kind Of Love (nice acoustic song, reminds me a bit of Nick Cave) and Given Away (nice synths and beats and great vox but the production quality is quite grainy)

I think you have good raw talent, good luck seeking out a publishing deal, I would aim more for that electro-acoustic feel of I feel OK and Given Away and maybe add some Portishead style drum and bass with ambient textures onto That Funny Kind Of Love but keep the acoustic sound that was great.

You have a lot of variety to keep listeners's interested but try and tie it into a more specific theme otherwise it sounds a bit all over the map musically and the more you dilute the genres, the less people will like the combined end result, better to combine a couple of genres and stick to it, people will call you derivative but derivative is what the labels and producers and public want !!

I wouldnt worry about genres tbh. A song needs to stand up on its own merits if you ask me. Never did The Beatles any harm.

"I feel ok" is a great track, good sounds all around. "MLK" quite nice work there, at 1.49 its spoiled a little though as it could have been more mellow and ambient.

true but the Beatles changed their sound progressively, they didn't release one album with sugary pop ballads, interspersed with comedy children's songs. tripped out mind bending tracks like Tomorrow Never Knows, weirded out circus songs like For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite, peace songs like Let It Be and hard rock like Back In the USSR, or She's So Heavy, all at once, they phased it all in over a 5-6 year period !!
