the fact that reason 4 has no way to just record some audio and slice it up, then easily map it to midi notes and trigger it in the reason sequencer just pisses me off.

they made recycle for petes sake.
Mac, Mpc, and a Microphone

Thanks for the Slicer Abe.

Don't listen to much progressive rock then?
Nobody does. That's the 0.0001%.
You sir, are full of shite.

I dont even think they need to worry about doing anything edit wise with audio in - they just need to make it possible as a kind of through so you can pipe audio through it's FX and filters and record to its samplers

like real samplers can record

the whole virtual rack concept is fine and great idea, they dont need to try and be another audio sequencer or arranger, but they could at least let their samplers SAMPLE!

that is really the only reason you'd want it - I reckon most people use it with another host anyway, the main problem with no audio in actually for me was just not being able to use the maelstrom filters really - they were cool

but yeah, recording straight into dr. rex and slicing would be cool

do they even sell recycle any more?

shame about the time signature automation eh

Hm. I always thought that prog rock was the worst thing ever invented... that is, till somebody sugested making it in Reason.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

There should be a requirement of at least 20 automated time signature changes per song.
