does this also happen when you;

-first start Live
-then start Reason
-and then arrange the proper rewire routing ?

Whats your system and audio card?

Which versions of Live and Reason?

Could we'll be something to do with the Indigo card, maybe?

From propellerheads website:

ReWire and Rex
ReWire and Rex are also compatible with Windows Vista. However, as a result of the enhanced security features in Windows Vista, the way ReWire and Rex need to be installed has changed. We have created a special Installer of ReWire and Rex for Vista users. This installer can be downloaded here.

That fixed it for me!
Hope it helps.

Hello,

I have a general crash problem configuration :(

I have a notebook Fujitsu Siemens Amilo 2515 with Ableton 6.0.7
and Reason 3.
My OS is Vista Home Premium.

I've download the properllerhead rewire link and install it. Then I tried Live and reason in a rewire mode and all was ok but, unfortunately, when
I restarted my notebook, 30 second after that vista had started, all system crash (blue screen error) and when I rerestarted it, he crashed again 30 sec after etc...)

Can someone help me?
Thanks a lot

I'm also getting a Reason crash on my Macbook Intel Core Duo. Reason runs fine alone, as does Live. But if I launch Live, then Reason, Reason crashes. Live stays up, but I can't route MIDI out to IAC driver.

So many people love Live, but I fail to see the potential since simple setups are a pain in the ass.

It appears that the new Reason update 3.0.5 for Reason Adapted users will fix this crash on the Intel Macs.

I'll let you know if I ever really get Live to rewire anything. No luck so far!

Thanks for your answer.
I re-install today my notebook with Vista Pro instead of the Home edition
and now it works ... strange
