Sub Grouping Channels

Post by Adam The Duke » Wed Jun 20, 2007 10:07 am

Im new to the board, so Hi..

I've just started to use Ableton as a rewire device for some other software..

I basically wanted to know how to Sub-Group channels into a single channels, so i can apply an overall effect to it (whether its drums, vox, etc)..

thanks..

p.s. this might amuse you, i just bought a copy of Ableton 6 from the website, and 10 mins later received a phone call from the Fraud Squad, asking why a transaction had been made to East Germany :)

:D

you can set each channel to "sends only", then route which ever ones you want to process to the send channel of your choice for processing.

hi, and welcome to the board.

create an empty audio track and route all tracks you desire into it, you will see on every track an 'audio to' section there you choose the new created empty audio track, which will become your bus / group track.

and, ehem... cough... read the manual for simple stuff like that!

have fun, with ableton.
