Rack Improvements (use midi rack for ROUTING)

Post by chewywater » Wed Jun 20, 2007 2:31 pm

Use midi-rack chain selectors to rout midi data directly to different midi channels of a plug-in.

Note that this solves the current problem of being unable to confine a multi-channel midi performance to one track.

For example:
(single track midi performance + recorded chain select controller) ---> Midi Rack With chains ---> (Multi Channel Plugin) .

Note also that if you remote control the chain selector you can now rout midi data in real time while performing.

Are you saying this will work, or you wish it would work?

I'm saying I wish the feature existed.
I wish I could use midi-rack chain selectors to rout midi data directly to different midi channels of a plug-in.
Does that make sense?
