Using Live to Trigger Video in Full Screen
Using Live to Trigger Video in Full Screen
How do I get the Video Window to default to full-screen when I open my files in Live?
For live shows, I'm triggering videos with my audio loops and projecting the video images from a projector connected to my laptop. The Ableton Live interface displays on my laptop screen, and the Video Window displays on the projector screen. However, I have to double-click the Video Window to get it to display full-screen. Instead, how can I get the Video Window to default to full screen? I want to be able to quickly open the Live files and have the videos display full screen from my projector so the audience doesn't have to see me fumbling around clicking on windows to make them bigger. Anyone know how to workaround this?
I'm using Live 6 with a macbook pro 2.33 ghz intel core 2 duo with 2gb of ram.
thanks,
Dave

Hitting the mouse wouldn't be that big of deal if we were more of a laptop band and I was in front of the laptop the whole time, but we mostly use live instruments and then use Ableton for looping. So having to resize the screen before every song interrupts our live flow and seems too much like going to a Microsoft presentation. There must be some way to do this. What do DJ/VJs do that use Abelton?
