LFO for any automation parameter?

Is there a plug-in or a trick that can generate an LFO to control any automation parameter? I have some plug-ins that I use that don't have any good modulation parameters and would like to put an LFO on the automation parameters to simulate it. IE: In Guitar Rig there is a LFO device that can be put on anything.

guitar rig 2 has an lfo

otherwise if you're on mac you could try numerology and route the midi to ableton
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

with plogue bidule you can do that.
it's cross-platform and can be used
as a plug-in, or a midi source in live,
or rewired, or......

i'm hoping that live will eventually
have lfo controlled paramater modulation.
