Hey all,
I'm new to Ableton and the forum. Gotta question. I recently downloaded several VST demos for my Mac. After weeding out the ones I don't want to use, I moved them to Trash. BUT, when I pull up Live, they still show in my VST and AU plug-in folders. Anyone know how to "completely" delete them from Live? For example, I went into Finder, found all files and folders associated with Battery and deleted them. It still shows up in Live. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
Deleting VSTs
Hello,
The plugins are installed into one of those directories (if you don´t have a custom
folder):
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
/Users/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
/Users//Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
Check these directories and remove the plug-ins from there.
best,
Christian
