1 - If sombody want tablet for grapics i think the wacom is the way.........
i like more the J HANS abstract and non abstract demos, that are more imaginative, of thsi poor demo.
I dont think multitouch really make more productive edition on corel draw, or ilustrator, or photochop...., put your fingers over your vision all time, its not funny thing.

Jazzmutant guys, i sugest improve your demos : ) its a great product for who on that non usable way.

2 - All the time, the multitiuch is used just for make zoom
With one touch and just simple gesture can do the same on more simple way.

Multitocuh not is the best replace of mouse and keyboard, the best example of real great use is LEMUR and DEXTER and soem samples form J HANS
Iphone is another example about the multitouch its not the panacea......you use 2 fingers usually for zoom, for the rest just single touches with exelent gestures....

I no want be negative........but i think if multitouch its coming, the way how we interact with amchines should change............if not.......multitouch its usefull on very little number of situations.

Because that demo was filmed at Siggraph. An event where this type of application would have been most relevant to.
Multi-Touch-screen + wacom tablet + pc into one.

You wonna see audio applications? Check the lemur videos.

Thankyou for theinfo hoffman2k ....anyway for take control of ableton and studio and other osc or midi audio, etc etc, i love LEMUR.

Due i live on A** of the world, i cant buy lemur so i create my own touch screen controller, you know, monotouchlive.com : )

But for graphic i prefer wacom 21UX

SEE IN ACTION : )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE2APo_EORQ

The zoom, with 2 fingers on multitocuh devices its not really usefull when you work........for fun is ok, like iphone, but for real work you loose time....and the wacom way is more usefull.

I think right now, multitouch introudce big benefits for just little number of aplications in the real world.

"The first integrated mouse — shipped as a part of a computer and intended for personal computer navigation — came with Xerox Star 1981"

From the year of the invention of mouse 1963 to today, mouse just have the same design and just have some little changes, i think the reason of that is simple, its absolutly effective way to interact with the machine. like keyboard.

I not blame to Jazzmutant, they really make great work, i just coment my point of view about multitouch, i think if nobody show a really REVOLUTIONARY way of use multitouch with computers.......the multitouch technology continue like rare geek thing, and progress of this technology continue on slow way.

The only one revolutionary product i see now on portable or normal size device is DEXTER and LEMUR
I dont think any WACOM 21UX user run to sell on ebay the unit for buy this multitouch tablet.
I know lot of djs want sell on ebay "one kidney" jaja for buy the lemur or dexter....its really usefull wonderfull product.....

..............oh and iphone its not revolutionary for the multitouch, all the time just use one touch, on the iphone multitouch is usefull for zoom, rotate, and for game controls....etc etc

The real revolution on the iphone is how apple use the gestures for take control of intuitive GUI of the iphone : )

This is only my opinion...........

Sorry for my bad english, i hoppe my concept about multitouch be clear on this lines i writed, i dont feel thsi technology is bad, i just feel, the real revolution not come yet.

Best regards.
