Thanks guys. I'm currently away and will be for the next few days but when I get back, i'll keep on working on this. :)

I'll keep trying more electro for sure. I've had lots of fun working on this tune so far. As for ditching DnB, that's a stretch. :P Might take occasional breaks from it, but I never will ditch it.

Anyhoo, as far as the technique is concerned, not sure exactly what to say. It was kind of a no-brainer really. I just thought of some edits as the tune went along and then proceeded to manually chop, slice, cut, paste, pitch, crush, resample etc. to achieve the desired results.

Sorry if it's not much help, but that's essentially it. No fancy glitch-generating or randoimization plugins involved. Just a willingness to experiment, and some patience

Im asking as it has a nice 'live cut' feel. Im wondering if this is something you produced in a live take, or if it was created completely in edits?

I really enjoyed this track - well done.

I also liked your DnB tracks.

Would definitely be interested in reading about some of the production techniques you used to make your music. All of the tracks I listened to have a really good high quality sound.

Thanks

good stuff, guys!

On a related note, a friend of mine and I collab every once in awhile on this type of stuff as well. It's a good way to stretch from my normal minimal sound. We just did a remix of Lip Gloss by Li'l Mama - check it if you want:
