I don't really like this, I don't find it 'atmospheric'.

Nice drum programming, it keeps the song moving since the bass line does get a little repetitive passed the 3/4 minute mark. I would of liked to see it evolve a little mabye??

I'm also not huge on the main synth choice, it sounds like theres is quite a few filtered notes in the background you almost can't even hear? That whole section would sound great played through a guitar i think.

Good stuff though :)

Yeah, the Just working a little riff/groove thing in my original post was meant to convey that this was not really a proper track but just a wee jam... mainly working out some percussion techniques. I doubt I'll re-work this as there's just not much meat to it, but it was good practice and a lot of fun to do.

I sometimes like a synth program that doesn't re-trigger the filter when playing legato, as in this case, but hey that's just imo.
