baaaaaaah

A whole lot of house DJ's in the United States

The United States started the explosion of Dance music, yes there was kraftwerk to start things off but WE inspired all of your great DJ's!!!!!!!

Dance music isn't really mass consumed here in the states like it is over there

Check yo self before you wreck yo self!!!!!!

hehe... yeah man, I just had a "way back" attack and bought two Minor Threat albums yesterday. Shame they aren't actually albums though... I swear I'm getting out of this mp3 stuff and getting back into vinyl.

Aww man... that's a whole different direction. VH1's been playing some 5 part rap documentary, reminded me how great rap used to be, it's still good, but...

Remember when ministry used to sound like this:

Revenge.
Every Day is Halloween

I used to have that record, With Sympathy, on cool multi colored vinyl. I was like 15 or 16. The next one I bought was land of Rape and Honey, in like '88 or '89. Man, what a different sound!

Sympathy was some great synth work but it was 'The Mind Is...' that got me into them, I still love that album loud as FUCK walking around the cubicles at work. But sympathy was an odd album, we'd say 'every band has their sympathy' when an album was released by a band that sounded different.

KRS is the man!

ps. I actually like "With Sympathy". That was the underground club scene at that time. ministry certainly changed, but the album definitely has its place in my collection.
