Anyone use Logic Pro

Post by Bazaaa » Thu Jun 28, 2007 9:13 pm

Hey people,

Anyone use logic pro? I am thinking of getting it. A friend of mine has it and I find it great for writing a song from start to finish. seems to have a polish some how.

Live is great for mixing and remixing and jamin but I find it limiting. I am also not mad on the worbeling effect when playing some non beat type loops. Do they work well together well so I can get the best of both worlds?

turn off warp then to stop the warbling...or change warp type

I find cubase and logic far too much for creation...you get bogged down and i get a pro sound from ableton and powercore plugins...

I use Logic.
As a side note, a squirrel has gnawed his way into the side of my roof, just near the rain gutter and he's making noises inside the FUCKING ceiling...

Anyway...
Yeah Logic is great. and Live works with Logic very well.
What Live is good for makes using it with logic very stimulating both emotionally and mentally.
You'll also be very very popular with the ladies if you hook them both up together and make some funky melodies.

I also use both live and logic.
I find logic a tough nut to crack, but the included instruments and effects (space designer, in particular ) to be far better than lives plugs.
just be prepared to spend some time learning logic.

I've been using Logic since it was called Creator. I love the workflow, the instruments and plugs-ins are excellent, and the environment is pretty darn cool - if you can figure it out.
Live - I can't go without it. Logic and Live go hand in hand for me.
