MIDI Bug: Loss of MIDI to Trigger Finger

Since updating my Macbook to OS 10.4.9 (not my choice. The bloody repair centre did it for me!) and upgrading Live to v6.0.7 I often get a loss of MIDI communication between Live and my Trigger Finger drum pad despite the device being recognised and enabled in the preferences. This happens in 3 situations:

1: When I load Live. I don't get any communication unless I'm pressing pads on the TF while its loading.

2: If I leave my computer running with live loaded I sometimes come back to it to find that the MIDI communication has broken.

3: If I load a set I've previously been working on it breaks the communication again. (even if I've had it working on the default empty set before loading the saved one

Anyone else had any experience of this? Is it a bug with the program or OS or is it something I can fix myself? It never happened with Live 6.0.1 and OS 10.4.7

I have the same problem of losing MIDI control since I upgraded to 6.0.7, in a Windows XP environment.

This happens with the Trigger Finger as well as with my Faderfox or my UC33.

Systematically, after 5 minutes into a liveset.

having the same problem with a trigger finger, though it's very erratic, and sometimes doesn't happen. workaround: unplug replug.
