Sorry, if this question has an obvious answer but I've tried the manual and can't find it there. How do you change the time signature halfway through a track, in the arrangement view? For example, you might have 8 bars of 4/4 then 2 bars of 7/4 or whatever.
I tried highlighting a couple of bars and then altering the time signature, but this just changes the time signature of the whole track.
Time signature changes
Oh boy, here we go...
You can assign different clips, different time signatures, but you can't automate the global time signature.

But you can do it. You can't change the global time signature, but, for instance, you can have a clip playing in 7/4 within a session that is running at 4/4. If you want a section of your composition to play in 7/4, then set all the clips in that section to run at 7/4.Dan84 wrote:Ah.. Well that explains why I couldn't do it at least!Time signature changes aren't supported (yet).
True, it would be nice if they would implement global time signature changes. Would certainly be much, much more intuitive. But it is possible to do it, right now.
