Happy 140th to us. Just got home from whistler, where I accidentally caught some of the worst parade I've ever seen. Man am I glad to be outta there.

You're a good american nathannn, comments like that make me not want to travel outside the US for fear of being tar and feathered.

The third is maple syrup, you probably wouldn't want maple syrup with your Big Mac unless you're pregnant!!

2nd is bacon as in Canadian Bacon, the first are butter tarts and the last one is Quebec's finest delicacy, Poutine - fries, cheese curds and gravy, mmm, mm, delicious !

I guess there was some up on the blackcomb bowl, some people had boards heading up, but couldn't see any snow from the village. It's all about the downhill biking there right now. Summer's in full swing. Well, almost. I just went to party, 'cause I knew some dj's playing. And, like everytime I go, I remembered that I hate partying in whistler.

I remember mcdonalds (in the states at least), having some meat breakfast sandwich made with waffles instead of a bagel or biscuit, and not only waffles, waffles filled with maple syrup!!! I think it would have succeeded had it been deep fried

and I want some poutine too!!!!!!!!

I've dj'd some cool clubs in Whistler village <---> I've had good times and bad times as well but mostly good

my cousin married a Canadian so now he lives in Surrey - my own blood lives 3 hours from me and I see him maybe once a year (it's not his fault fyi!)

his wife got a year off work to have her baby - WOW!

actually I've dj'd all over Canada - one of the hotels had 24 hours adult movies (hardcore too, not the pansy skinemax shit we have in US Hotels) for like $12 American

oh and how many times have I stayed at Chateau Granville - too many to count - I'm bout due for another trip up north

RJ - downhill biking at the resorts is fun too, knock the fillings right out of your teeth!!! I can't believe how close mt bikes have come to being motorcycles.

lester - The MCGRIDDLE!!! Never had one, after the McRib experience I stopped being an early adopter at McNasty's. I eat there maybe 4 times a year.

Adonis - Do not use the remote control or phone in those hotels. :?

I was curious - it seems there's quit a few more Asain people in Vancouver than in Seattle but it's all apart of the Pacific Rim triangle of trade

I wonder what the attraction is to Vancouver over Seattle - commonwealth?
