Can't quite figure this out. I'm trying to add effects to individual cells in Battery 2. Would appreciate if somebody could help me out.

I don't think this is possible in battery 2, but battery 3 has this capability.
If you get to use battery three (they have free demo versions on their site) its the effects tab, while the master tab controls effects for the main output bus.
Aside from this, you could use seperate output tracks for each cell, then effect and mix them in ableton. Im not sure how to send the cells to different outputs (I'll get back to you on that), but to accept those outputs in ableton, just create an audio track in Live (I find this easiest to accomplish in session view) and set the input to whatever channel battery is on, then under that, another dropdown will appear showing you all of the different outputs for battery, so you'd select the one you need. then put the monitor selection button on IN.
I'll get back to you on the within battery stuff, but in the meantime, I hope this helps.
