Default Clip Length

Not sure if this has been mentioned as I am too lazy to search the forum, but wouldn't it be cool if there was under preferences a 'default clip length'? Surely this is easy to implement since their are other default options, and if you are anything like me then you find yourself constantly creating a track, creating a clip, and then resizing clip length to 4 bars. I know a easy work around would be to just create a template with the various clip lengths I desire, and simply apple + c and apple + v the clips in tracks as I need. But a default clip length would be ever so useful to me. Anyone else second this? Please post a reply and show the need for A 'DEFAULT CLIP LENGTH', or tick the poll.

I need this. I too double click, and then make the clip 4 or 8 bars. 4 bars as default would rock my socks.

agreed, this would make life much easier for me (because of how i work), live loopers have asked for this (yes, there are work arounds, but it would be much simpler to set loop length and forget it).

wouldn't you sometimes be bummed when you wanted to make a longer clip?

I would much rather have to resize 10 percent or 15 percent of my clips then 100 percent of them. Just a feature that seems like it should be there in my opinion.
