Midi clips not copying properly!

I am trying to copy Midi clips but the notes get fucked up on some of the copied parts and go down 3 octaves!!
Is anyone else having this problem? I am using the latest version, checked my disk etc on my mac dual 2.5 with plenty of ram!
This is my first go at a project using ableton as a production tool (I usualy use logic 7.2) as I only use Live for DJ or sketches for ideas.
I am going back to Logic and I dont think I will be trying live again for a while to "Make" music!

Are these MIDI clips playing a AU synth, and are you working in Arrangement view? If so, please the 6.0.8b6 that is available in the top post of this forum section.
