Hi everyone,
i'm trying to route midi from one vst plug-in to another. in my case i want to use a step-sequencer of Reaktor5 (which sends polyphonic midi out data) to control Battery 3 within Live 6. so i loaded Reaktor 5 into "1 midi", Battery 3 into "2 midi" and set "MIDI From" "1 Midi" and choose "Reaktor5". it works so long as only one note is played. as soon as 2 notes are sent at the same time (e.g. i want to play a kick and a snare together) only one note reaches battery.
Do some of you have the same problem, maybe with other plug-ins? is polyphonic midi-routing in live 6 possible?
btw i use a 2ghz macbook, ableton live 6.0.7 and the newest reaktor and battery versions.
Cheers

routing polyphonic MIDI data from channel to channel
btw i tried two more things. routing midi from reaktor to battery in standalone mode works fine and polyphonic (i used iac for that). working with iac in live unfortunately doesn't solve the problem.
i also installed the guru demo to see if other vsts are routed correctly and polyphonic. guru and battery in live works fine, no midi routing problems. so the problem seems to be reaktor, but if so, why is it working in standalone mode?!

The polyphonic midi from vstplugins does not work with all plugins.
My experience:
Sonicbytes ERA does NOT work in Live 6 (Sonicbytes blames Ableton. Still waiting till something or somebody brings two developers of both parties around the table, I gave up after some tries.)
NuEdge Microtonic sending polymidi DOES work in Live 6.
