When they announced SoniVox collaboration they came up later with Live 6 and EIC. Speculations are about a set of new Instruments in Live.

my speculation is a max patch that is directed at controlling live. a max patch that would actually cost to purchase.

And on top of my list ! Specially if VJ applicable, considering that there are 1001 VJ apps and none of them real good, Ableton could really hit gold with that.

I am sure the collaboration between the c ompanies is going quite well. No news is sometimes good news.

For VJ applications - have you tried Livid's Union?

take the cycling74 GUIs and controls and slap them on top of rack macros.

some video shit to enhance the live aspect of Live with C74 jitter tech

published hooks into Live that people can use with C74, the ability to read/control the bpm, quantise setting, etc.

seems obvious to me now but in time with hindsight who knows.

I don't know about having to buy shit for this to work, there's the FREE max/msp runtime environment, I'm controlling Live with a monome with that as it is.

I would prefere to have it all in one app for many reasons.
I looked at the Livid page, presentation. what is the catch ?It sounds like the best app of the kind but somehow too good to be true. I tried all them Arkaos, VJamm, VJockey, resolume,Flowmotion and more. Most have retarded GUIs, I like resolume most but it wont work with Live on the same computer.
I read regularly the VJ forum, why nobody mentions this soft ? It really seems to be lights ahead, having all the functionalities I missed in all those popular softwares. Will definitely give it a try.
Thanks for the tip and hope for some more info.
