hi,
weird effect when default settings plus osc a and b is on full volume, while A waveform is "sine", B is "square d" or saw. not every case but for example A on octave 1, B on octave 2, then some unwanted clicks happen. when i turn OFF the HQ option, they disappear.
i dont remember anything like this before 6.0.7
whats up with that?
operator bug?
Re: operator bug?
That's interesting -- I can get this too. You can hear the clicks fairly clearly by turning the tone knob all the way up, so it isn't aliasing of some kind. I'm guessing that this is actually a real effect of FM with those two waves, though I don't know why. (A sine + a wave with a lot of harmonics like either of those is going to produce something unlistenable no matter what with the default algorithm and the volumes all the way up.) I can get this with 6.0.3 and 5.2.1, so it isn't something new.d-track wrote:hi,
