MacBook Pro Problems...

Post by DanielHoerr » Fri Jul 13, 2007 5:34 am

Weird...

Basically stock MacBook Pro - 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - 2 GB RAM

Ableton Live 5.0.1

I've walked through the audio set up, upping the CPU Usage Threshold to 80%, and scaled the Buffer Size samples all over the place.

Just triggering Verse1 of "A tour through Live" gets choppy (70-80%), and Verse2 is completely maxing out the CPU (110-120%). HELP! I can't imagine this thing doesn't have the horsepower??

Thanks for any advice. :?:

Ugh - 15 years with internet forums and discussion groups and I still make a n00b mistake. SEARCH!

Thanks for the response. I could have saved us all some time had I used my brain.

Cheers.
