Try contacting some of the people here:

biostatic and sporadic in particular both use Live, I think. I'm not sure there's a big organized scene out there, but there are definitely some really cool people around doing interesting things...

New user group starting in Denver / Boulder area

Post by Newecho » Sun Sep 28, 2008 6:59 pm

I've decided to kick-off the formation of a Denver / Boulder user group for Ableton Live.

I've started a MySpace page to get the ball rolling. If you live in this neck of the woods and want to join in - http://www.myspace.com/abletondenver.

check out www.unnet.net

It's a great message board for EDM in Denver. Tons of producers sharing tunes and mixes, and lots of people using Live.

Meet up number one is scheduled for 27Sept2009 at the Walnut Room in Denver.

http://abletondenver.com/meet-up-number ... -27-630pm/ - We are supporting all areas on the front range (We don't have a lot of population out here so we all have to come together).

We have Mark Mosher speaking on Vocoding and Chris Lawhead talking on live performance and hardware looping. This is a FREE event!

RSVP via our meet up group at http://meetup.org/ableton-denver

Thanks and see you there!

This was a really good meetup last night, most of it was intros and other talk about what's going on, but they did have a good amount to say about vocoders which I'll be using. :D
