hello.
i've a mac pro 2.66, the best, but the standard configuration.. well the best computer that i ever seen.. before duende arrives.
the times to start up the mac pro is this: i push the start button, in the time to push the monitor button the system is ready to go.
but now, since december, when i've bought my duende, all is changed.
all the computer is really slow, but really, its a G4.
in ableton: drop out, delays, peaks, explosions of more than 120db clipped, track muted, a lot a lot of problem.
the last mix i've do with my brain, without ears.
is not the configuration anythin, i've tried all. do the same without my audio interface (firewire), without hardisk, with another duende..
i don't know.. but maybe ableton can say me something, i'm really angry.
i've trashed the cache of live and all goes a little better. and also i've disabled the vst.
there is a way to avoid this problems?
can you help me?
SSL don't reply to anything, i've bought a 1500 dsprocessor to throw in a wc..
maybe some configuration can helps me..
ableton live & duende: pls someone helps me

Hi,
I'm not sure I can really help, as it seems linked to the Duende anyway. First, if you don't plug i, is everything back to normal?
Then: the Duende is using a Firewire port, right? So, is there any specification the Firewire port should comply to? Don't you think it could 'just' be a matter of the wrong Firewire port? Do you have another one?
Last: isn't there a forum for the Duende, so users who have the same computer as you could share their experience?
Regards,
Amaury
