Stylus and Live

I am trying to MIDI-learn my Behringer controllers to Stylus as an AU in Live. Stylus (v 1.5.1c) doesn't respond at all. Anyone have luck with this?

My other option is to route Stylus into individual tracks in Live, and MIDI-control Live. But when i do any editing or changing of loops in Stylus, the output for the track keeps changing back to default A. Puts a damper on realtime beatmaking. Any thoughts here?
