I lost my keyboard shortcuts!

System prefs -> Keyboard mouse -> Keyboard shortcuts

Ever since I went in there and hit "restore defaults", I lost a lot of keyboard shortcuts in Live. Now when I'm in Live and hit F9 or F10, I get expose.

I didn't know Live changes OSX system prefs...does it? What a mess. How do I get it back?!

Look in the Dashboard & Expose area of System Prefs the keyboard shortcut dropdowns for expose should be right there

you can also do it in keyboard and mouse. if you have them disabled for OSX everything that came in conflict with Live should not be in the way anymore.

Great thanks. I unchecked the expose F buttons and it came back.

OK, but we're already talking about keyboard & mouse, so I'm not sure what you mean about the other place to do it.

Which ones do you mean when you say for OSX? Uncheck all of them? Without unchecking everything, how do you know only to select the ones that are conflicting with Live?

I also noticed that input menu and spotlight keyboard shortcuts are identical and conflict each other. Kinda strange that the default setting conflicts with itself.

eh i probably just worded that wrong. a lot of the keyboard shortcuts in Live are already assigned to stuff in Mac OSX ie. Dashboard, Spotlight, Expose. If you use those shortcuts just disable them like you already did. and then you should fine... which you already seem like you are. I wouldn't uncheck all of them. Just that ones that I use for DAWs.

K thanks. I guess a long time ago I must have unchecked those manually to get to the Live shortcuts and just forgot all about it.
