here's a great song and video:

the la bionda track/video is pure gold...something must be wrong with your ears & soul. Have both checked out immediately.

you might prefer the video of them miming on TV however..

Daft Punk is like cheeze whiz marshmelodies with chunks of booty bass thrown in. Not really my thing.

I prefer pulsoc's tunes to the synth pop.

the la bionda track has a certain innocence to it that's fun but the child molester mustaches creeped me out, I turned off the monitor to listen to the song. cute song, too saccharine for me.

OK player hater, got tunes to go up against pulsoc's?

Yes, I imagine most people feel that way about my music. I understand that.

But most people like Daft Punk. That, I do not understand.

it could be accordian and fart noizes - who cares when it is pisroduced and crafted like Daft Punk do! They could take the teletubbies music and make it sound phat and underground.

the first time I heard "One More Time", I was in tears... which is weird cause Bad Boy Bill was the DJ and he is no cheezer in my book.... but the capsules and all.. well...

anyway...

if Daft Punk doesn't do it for you... well thats fine... but they certainly don't suck. They are masters of electronic music and it is embarassing when you deny it.

Calm down, fan boy, I don't think anybody denied it, and I'm certainly not embarrassed, some people like cheeze whiz...even me, on rare occaisions.

"Not my thing" does NOT equal "They suck". So quit hyperventilating. And quit it with the "phat" already!

Pulsoc : Mouth - nice tune.

It's OK to be bored by the Daft Punk. . That's not a problem, you can live without this.

But they are nevertheless one of the most important and influential projects in the world of Electronic music. And you cannot change that.

If you cannot understand and appreciate what they brought to us, there is something about techno that you'll never understand. That's all.

Can someone explain this more fully for me? Did Daft Punk pioneer anything? If so, what?

Please clarify this statement.

rofl

if you replaced daft punk with derrick may that statement would be true.

daft punk was born on the break thru of electronic music into pop music.
the first generation of mainstream electronic music. nothing ground breaking,.

and definatly not techno
